Requirements: Requirements of this position may include the following: -A Bachelor's Degree in business admin or relate filed with a minimum of five years sales or business and development experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. -A minimum of five years sales management experience with the proven ability to grow the business and find new revenue opportunities over time, with at least one year as a Director of Sales or Business Development. -A proven track record of business development and sales success working directly with top level corporate decision makers with tangible results. -A proven track record of running a successful sales organization while demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and holding employees accountable to business and sales metrics. -Ability to train and coach sales team to maximize revenue through effective inventory management and lead from the front management techniques. -Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices, and an ability to coach others -Experience making tough business and people decisions while creating positive energy in the face of challenges and the ability to communicate in a way that focuses, inspires and engages employees to deliver results.

Description: The Senior Vice president of Sales is a senior leadership role responsible for revenue growth for iHeartMedia’s broadcast, digital, and live entertainment products. The SVP Sales is the most senior member of the Sales management team and serves as a leader of the market’s new business and client service efforts. Primary responsibilities include leading and developing a strong sales manager leadership team and overseeing the market’s sales force on revenue growth via aggressive new business and account development strategies utilizing all of iHeartMedia integrated capabilities. The SVP Sales must coordinate and partner with the SVP Programming to ensure sales activity is consistent with the iHeartMedia brands with a focus to continue to grow revenue and audience levels. The SVP Sales reports directly to and works in tandem with the Market President to develop deep, accretive business relationships with the market’s largest current and potential clients including marketers and agencies while developing & implementing the market’s short and long term revenue growth plans. A deep knowledge of relevant market-level intelligence and trends, including but not limited to evolving technologies, consumer behaviors, market activity, client expectations, shifting competitive landscape, social media and operational efficiencies is required.
