You must be able to create and manage content that drives traffic across our digital and social media platforms. Oversee the digital department including the operations of websites, social media platforms, and emerging digital technologies. Accountable for content quality and traffic/market share of online content. You will work closely with the station's Programming, Marketing and Promotions, and Sales departments to ensure that our online presence reflects station priorities; at the same time, you will also create and program other brand-appropriate content. Required skills include: -Manage work schedules to ensure timely execution of tasks and goals -Evaluate department performance on a monthly basis, offering continuous tips for improvement in the work product quality and efficiency, and defining expectations -Create engaging content ideas, contests, platforms, and other elements to increase digital usage levels on cluster station websites, social media platforms, and emerging technologies -Monitor goals for growth as outlined by management and offer guidance and support with a guided effort from the department to exceed goals, including but not limited to, daily and monthly web and digital platform usage, database growth, Facebook fans, and Twitter followers -Analysis of metrics and diagnostics to shape strategy -Work in conjunction with programming staff to create and maintain content that is promoted across all platforms including on-air and digital -Create and oversee effective promotions that support and increase interaction with Clear Channel clients -Create content specific to drive impressions for clients -Create and oversee effective promotions that support and increase interaction with Clear Channel clients -Create Content specific to drive impressions for clients -Create partnership opportunities to co-benefit clients and programming -Create digital assets for client advertising and interaction across our digital platforms -Online Content Director works with, takes direction from, and reports to the Regional Market Manager, Operations Manager of Programming, and Sales Manager Location: Mt. Requirements: -Two or Four Year College Degree -Basic familiarity with PHP or other server side scripting language -Extensive knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML/CSS, required. Working knowledge of Flash, Javascript and video editing software a plus -Knowledge of basic graphic design principals, including a solid understanding of design, color, layout and type of usage -Strong organizational and time management skills -Experience with back end content management systems a plus -Novice understanding of social medial including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter and Hootsuite (or other social media management platforms) -Moderate level of comfort producing blog material and writing copy -Familiarity with Omniture SiteCatalyst a plus -Healthy addiction to the internet and pop culture a MUST
