Live 5 News is looking for a part-time video editor. Video editors are responsible for shooting and editing videos shot locally, as well as from other various sources, including CBS & CNN. The editor is responsible for attaching all videos to our early evening newscasts. Our next editor needs to be a good communicator and must be able to meet strict deadlines. While this is an entry-level position, attention to detail is an absolute necessity.
Work closely with producers, reporters, and photographers to complete editing assignments.

Qualifications:
– Prior experience with ENPS and Edius or other non-linear editing is preferred.
– The ability to shoot video is helpful.
– A journalism degree is a plus, but we also welcome current students.
– Must be available afternoons and evenings, Monday- Friday
