About the Role
We are seeking motivated and tech-savvy students to join our Television Engineering Department. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes of television production, assisting with the technical operations that keep our content on the air and online.
Interns will work alongside seasoned broadcast and IT engineers, learning the ins and outs of broadcast systems, IT networks, and real-time problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Assist with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadcast and IT systems
Monitor on-air signals and ensure technical standards are met
Support studio and control room operations during live and pre-recorded broadcasts
Perform hands-on tasks with servers, cabling, and audio/video equipment
Collaborate with team members on system upgrades and infrastructure improvements
What We’re Looking For
Current college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Broadcast Engineering, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
Strong interest in television engineering and information technology
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and operating systems
Proficiency in Windows and/or Linux environments, Microsoft Office, and basic computer troubleshooting
Eagerness to learn, contribute to a team, and get hands-on
Strong communication and organizational skills

Intern rate of pay can range from minimum wage in your state to $15.00 an hour.
