WSPA (CBS) and WYCW (CW) Nexstar’s Broadcasting dual station operation in Market 37, Greenville / Spartanburg, SC / Asheville, NC is searching for an experienced Research Analyst. This position will also support WSAV (NBC) in Savanah Ga. and will require some travel to Savanah. We need someone that knows how to use the products of a well-stocked Research toolkit: Nielsen, Scarborough, Polk, Wide Orbit & Kantar. Understanding how to use research to build a logical and compelling sales story is very important. Must know how to use PowerPoint or other effective presentation materials. Must be comfortable with media terminology and the preparation of sales materials to effectively outline the competitive advantage of television in the marketplace. Preparation of selling strategies and sales pieces is vital to our sales effort. Data should be customized to present the station’s competitive strengths and inherent audience values.

Experience:
Minimum of 2-3 years of media research experience knowledgeable about media-related software including Wide Orbit, Kantar, Google Ad Manager, Google Analytics, and other comparable software.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (3 years) in Marketing, Communications, English, or Statistics
