Lifestyle Producer/Booker

WCSC is looking for a Producer/Booker for our new lifestyle program highlighting food, shopping, activities events and things to do around the Lowcountry. The show will feature a combination of sponsored content, interview segments, studio guests, and pre-produced stories showcasing the very best our community has to offer. The ideal candidate will be skilled at putting together a daily one-hour program that engages and entertains our audience.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Book guests, maintain show calendar, create content for and line produce daily show.
• Greet and manage communication with guests during show preparation and broadcast.
• Produce engaging social media and digital content.
• Work with the lifestyle team, marketing, and sales departments on all sponsored elements of the show.
• Highly motivated self-starter that can work with a team or independently to produce a variety of creative assets for our broadcast and digital assets.
• Ability to fill in as MMJ when needed.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Film/Video, or related field.
• Video shooting and editing (Adobe Premiere and/or Edius) experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Highly motivated self-starter that can work with a team or independently to produce a variety of creative assets for broadcast and digital platforms.
• Must have the ability to stay up to date on local events.
• Must be energetic, positive and great in a team environment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
