WCSC, the #1 station and award-winning CBS affiliate in Charleston, South Carolina is looking for a full-time Marketing Producer. This position will fulfill a variety of multimedia functions which include shooting and editing video, writing and conceptualizing projects for commercial clients, station promotions, and other station projects. Candidates should have a strong eye for layout and design and truly enjoy creative thinking and visual problem-solving.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Write, Edit, Shoot, and Produce promotions for news content promotion, station branding, and client commercials
– Digital and social media marketing
– Videography including strong audio and lighting skills
– Working collaboratively with other departments on station projects
– Engaging the public during station events in a professional setting
– Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

A marketing producer at WCSC will need at least two years video production experience or equivalent, the proven ability to quickly shoot and edit using the Adobe Creative Suite, and be able to write creative, effective commercials and digital content. This candidate will also need to be able to provide specific examples of impactful video marketing and specific ways he or she has worked well with a team. Experience with Facebook/Instagram/Twitter/Tik Tok etc. is a plus.
