Live 5 News is looking for a Digital Content Producer. We are looking for a journalist who is passionate about sharing content online and on social media. We need someone who is a great writer and has solid news judgment.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

– Writing, editing & attaching video to news stories on Live5News.com
– Monitoring news sources to develop news content
– Promoting content on social media through engaging posts.
– Managing the station’s social media
– Shooting stories in the field for use on air and on our digital platforms
– Ability to fill in on other shifts as needed, including early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Must be a strong writer and copy editor with excellent editorial judgment, time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize quickly. Must have a basic working knowledge of web design and maintenance.  Experience with writing in AP style is preferred. Knowledge of entry-level videography and video editing software is a plus.  Candidate must have a valid driving license and clean driving record.
